HEALTH LEADERS, HEALTHY CHURCHES
The Brazilian church lives days of confusion of faith, leadership crises and deviations of behavior that require firm intervention. Hundreds of years ago, Augustine of Hippo stated that the church is a hospital for sinners, and in 2016 we discovered that the Church needed This year’s Atos 29 Brazil conference focuses on the theme “Healthy Leaders, Healthy Churches?”, as a call to reaffirm the centrality of the gospel and the inspiration of new leaders who must establish themselves on clear ethical foundations , which will therefore multiply healthy and fruitful communities. To this end, we turn to Tite, the pastoral letter written by Paul that guides a solid selection of leaders in the Church, steps to promote a healthy community life and the basis of the restorative character of faith rooted in Jesus. There were three days of biblical display in Rio de Janeiro with pastors engaged in the preaching of the gospel in various contexts.
