At the Rio de Janeiro Regional Conference, Sing the Scriptures had the opportunity to have a friendly and informal conversation with the musician and our friend Eduardo Mano. Undoubtedly one of the best composers of congregational songs today, Brother Mano is a very humble and pleasant. Although he is in a good mood (I almost died of laughter while having lunch with him and the band), he understands the serious praise we sing to God in our services, being of great use to the congregations who used his songs.
Technically, he only edited one CD, “Velhas Verdades”, of which I have two copies (with dedication, of course). You can access eduardomano. net listen online or download for free. If you want to help Mano’s work, you can buy a physical copy of the CD by sending an email to [email protected] and asking for a quote (and go get me, it’s pretty cheap). He also released two called EPs? Songs for Small Groups? And ‘Hope’, just for download, which can be listened to and downloaded for free here. His fourth work, entitled “But Vale um Dia Vale Mais”, is already on its way (you can listen to some songs from this new work here).
- Watch the video we recorded of the conversation and laugh a few laughs.
- Discover the history of good music and the very relevant considerations of those who help paint the music scene of our generation.
