. . For the past few days, I have felt compelled to write the following word for the youth who received this publication. I ask you to prayerfully think about the things you are going to read. If you find some truth in what is written, I want to urge you to adapt your life to what you have read. Don’t waste your life!
PRAY. . I divide my prayer into two distinct categories: prayer with my walking shoes and prayer with my work boots. The first category refers to fellowship, worship, and thanksgiving. It is walking with God as a present companion at all times, enjoying his company and seeking ever greater manifestations of his presence. Does this type of prayer have a purpose? know him and simply? to be? Without this type of prayer, all the knowledge in your head will never be second-hand theological jargon. You will spend your whole life speaking correctly about someone you don’t even know who they are and about things that never happened in your life. . . I’ve heard people say that they don’t have a specific time with God that way, but that they talk to God during the day while going about their daily activities. My experience says that the ability to? Practice the presence of God? throughout the day and in the middle of my activities, they are only possible because I have withdrawn from my daily activities and sought God at specific times of prayer. This seems to have been the practice of our Lord Jesus Christ during His incarnation:
- At dawn.
- When it was still dark.
- Jesus got up.
- Left the house.
- And went to a deserted place.
- Where He prayed (Mark 1:35).
. . The second category of prayer? Prayer in my work boots? It refers to the prayer of intercession. Don’t let anyone fool you. This kind of prayer is a difficult job!It is no easy task for a mortal to fight with God (Genesis 32:24-32) and against the devil (Ephesians 6:12). The challenges are high and everything is won or lost. on this battlefield. We persevere in prayer for the glory of God, the Great Commission, and the advancement of the Kingdom (Matthew 6:9-10); We persevere in prayer for the preservation and sanctification of the Church; We work in prayer for every need and for the fulfillment of every promise God has given us. This is perhaps the most sacred task entrusted to men!. . I will end the topic of prayer with counsel that has been of great help to me. who gave me a older preacher, who received it from an even greater preacher. It looks like something like this:
“Pray until you can pray, then pray until you have prayed
. . Often, when we bend our knees in prayer, we do not feel the freedom or power to pray. Looks like there’s a bronze sky above us. This should not be a cause for discouragement, but it should lead us to fight in prayer until we have “pierced the heavens. “Even Dieu. Et is when we must begin to pray until our burdens are eased and we know that we are in fact praying.
