In the last few days, I have felt compelled to write the following word for the young people who received this publication. I ask you to prayerfully reflect on what you will read. If they find truth in what is written, I want to urge you to adapt your life to what you have read Do not ruin your life!
Now here’s a novelty! One of the best things a young Christian can do is practice systematic reading of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, over and over throughout his life. If you can, do it in the original languages, which is even better, but I know only a handful of men capable of such a thing, and I’m not one of them.
- Most of The knowledge of the scriptures by Christians is very fragmented.
- As they read only parts of the Bible.
- I met people who were brilliant in some aspects of the doctrine.
- But very weak in the general knowledge of the Bible.
- To avoid this hole.
- You need to read the SYSTEMATIC Bible from one end to the other.
- No one in their senses would read a book of literature by jumping back and forth and reading only certain chapters.
- They began from the beginning and progressed in the book.
- Chapter by chapter.
- Until they reached the end.
- And yet very few Christians have read the Bible in this way!Remember: the Bible is God’s inspired and foolproof Word given to us in book form.
- And in part.
- You have to read it all!.
One of the most rewarding ways to learn the scriptures is to write down your thoughts and questions as you read. Each time you review the scriptures, you will notice this: you will be able to answer many of your old and new questions that arise. You will also be able to refine and clarify many of your previous thoughts, in this way you will learn that the Bible is your best commentary.
One caveat: most people never read the entire Bible because they run out trying to understand everything or write a comment in each book, I propose two suggestions: first, don’t get bogged down. Write brief summaries and questions and read on. Second, simply write down those reflections that God has placed in your heart to remember them. We’ve got enough feedback to ruin all seminary students on earth!
To a young Christian, the Bible may seem incredible, but that will never change. The Bible is amazing! It contains more truths about God than any man will understand or obey. However, it is a wonderful journey to read its pages and not only learn, but also be transformed. It is about knowing God in a personal and intimate way, and being transformed into the likeness of His Son. Do not be discouraged! Every day that you read God’s Word, you gain years of study and a great deal of biblical knowledge. Every day lost will shrink this final treasure.
