Ten Reasons to Pray to the Scriptures
Here are some of the reasons why you should pray and ponder biblical truths.
- 1.
- Save biblical truths.
- Pay special attention to your own life and doctrine.
- Persevering in these duties.
- For in doing so you will save yourself and those who listen to you (1 Timothy 4:16).
Satan’s biblical truths deliver us; they will know the truth and the truth will set them free (John 8:32).
Biblical truths convey grace and peace; grace and peace are multiplied by the full knowledge of God and Jesus, our Lord (2 Peter 1:2).
4. Biblical truths sanctify. Sanctifie them in truth; Your word is the truth (John 17:17).
5. Biblical truths serve love. This is my prayer: may your love grow more and more in knowledge and perception (Philippians 1:9).
6. Biblical truths protect against error. Until we all attain the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God, and reach maturity, reaching the measure of Christ’s fulness. The goal is that we are no longer like children, carried back and forth by the waves, or thrown back and forth. throughout the wind of doctrine and cunning and cunning of deceiving men (Ephesians 4:13-14)
7. Biblical truths are the hope of heaven. Now, then, we only see a dark reflection, like in a mirror; but then we’ll meet face to face. Now I know in part; then I will know fully, as I am fully known (1 Corinthians 13:12).
Some will fight biblical truths. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; on the contrary, having itching in their ears, they will seek teachers for themselves, according to their own desires (2 Timothy 4:3).
Biblical truths, treated correctly, are approved by God; Try to present yourself approved of God, as a laborer who needs not be ashamed and who properly handles the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
10. Biblical Truths: Keep growing in them! However, grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To be glory, now and forever! Amen (2 Peter 3:18).
