According to the emails, messages and phone calls I receive continuously, believe me, your pastor needs encouragement. He needs to know that what he does week after week is valuable to God and to all those he works for. these problems, here are 5 suggestions for success:
1) Shows appreciation for hard work.
- Perhaps the most painful words a pastor and his wife can hear are not.
- “What a bad sermon?” was it a stupid decision?Or “I don’t like the way you do it.
- “In fact.
- There are more Words that wrap this message: “Are you lazy?” Therefore.
- The most encouraging words a pastor and his wife can hear are those of gratitude for the hard work in faithful preaching and the direction of souls.
2) Make a specific compliment in a sermon
I’m not talking about that pat on the back and the “good sermon” comment. On the other hand, it is necessary :?Did this highlight help me a lot in the text?Or ‘this app was against my difficulty’. Don’t underestimate how much a single specific and thoughtful commentary on your pastor’s sermon can have an impact on him, especially on Mondays.
3) Recognize your family’s sacrifice
This will encourage your wife and children, but it will also be very significant for the pastor. For the pastor, knowing you’re thinking about his family often means more than you think of him. Some of the most significant encouragements for me were gestures. as a card for my wife and children to thank them for their sacrifice to allow me to do what I do. My children in particular always remember these things.
4) Reveal how spiritually you grew up under his ministry
This is one of the things a pastor strives to hear and expects to happen throughout his congregation. Stop suspense and tell him to know. The Lord can also use these words to help a pastor learn what he needs to change or adjust the situation. the way he preaches or cares about people.
5) Tell him how you pray for him specifically.
His pastor, among all peoples, must know the importance of prayer. The most important thing I hear is not “I prayed for you,” but yes, I prayed that your sermon would be preached with power and received with interest. Or “I prayed that God would protect you and your family from the enemy this important week. “Write a text message or email to your pastor today and tell him or her how you prayed for him or how you will pray for him this week.
If not, find a way to cheer up your pastor this week. Never underestimate how important an opportunity can be when God guides you to do so.
