4 biblical reasons why racism must be fought

Racism is one of the main social problems facing humanity. Because of Adam’s sin and fall, man has perfidiously promoted exclusion, social inequality, and violence. Absorbed in evil, this man, deprived of the glory of God, has for centuries subjugated another man by simply believing that he has supremacy over what is not part of his culture and race.

Thinking about it and understanding in the light of the scriptures that racism must be fought vehemently, I decided to write down at least four biblical reasons why as Christians we must combat this offensive behavior, otherwise let’s see:

  • Racism must be fought by the fact that God created equal men.
  • All men were created by the Lord on an equal footing (Genesis 27) The sin that distorted this.
  • Making men feel better than other men by oppressing and enslaving those they consider inferior.

2. Racism must be fought because the scriptures teach that the Lord has created a single nation of men to live on the entire surface of the earth (AT 17. 26).

3. Racism must be fought because the scriptures affirm that man was created in the image and likeness of God, underlines the unequivocal fact that humanity bears traces of the Lord in his life, that is, men, whether Caucasian, African, Asian, Arab, Jews of all ethnicities, carry within them some of God’s attributes such as love , discernment, morality, desire to do the right thing, mercy, goodness, etc.

4. Racism must be fought because our Lord taught that we must love one another as He loved us. (Jo 13. 34. ) In other words, the teacher made it clear that Christians should love everyone without racial, social or ethnic prejudice. In addition, the scriptures also teach us that Christ saved sinners, men and women, from all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues. (Revelation 7:9) that together they will live with the One who saved them, in a perfect society, without sin, and without racism. (Revelation 21 and 22).
