15 questions to your marriage this year

As the end of the year approaches, many of us will have time to reflect on different areas of our lives. There’s nothing magical about passing the calendar page. However, if the move from December to January makes us think about what is really important, I am completely in favour of this little common grace.

Some of us will set new exercise goals. Some of us will find the right Bible reading plan for next year. Some of us will focus on a new programming to memorize the Bible. All of these elements are important (especially the last two). Let me propose another plan by the end of the year: evaluate your marriage.

  • As a pastor.
  • I have seen many marriages collapse (or collapse) over the years.
  • The church is usually good at gathering around a couple in search of compassion.
  • Guidance.
  • And comfort amid marital conflicts.
  • Helping each other before problems get worse.
  • We need a place for marriage evaluation in the church.
  • But we also need regular evaluations.

Here are 15 questions to help you and your spouse measure the temperature of your marriage relationship:

It’s not a perfect list of questions, it’s certainly not an exhaustive list, but maybe this is a start. God’s grace flows better in marriage when we speak.
